Nollywood actress-turned-evangelist Tonto Dikeh has announced the launch of a new interdenominational ministry initiative, New Wine Prophetic Tabernacle (NWPT), with weekly fellowship meetings scheduled to hold every Friday in Abuja.
The announcement marks another significant development in Dikeh’s increasingly public Christian journey. Earlier this year, the actress and former public officeholder began openly embracing the title Evangelist Tonto Dikeh and dedicating greater attention to her Christian faith and ministry.
According to Dikeh, NWPT is designed as an interdenominational spiritual gathering and global movement focused on prayer, revival, spiritual growth, and the manifestation of the presence and power of God.
Announcing the initiative on Instagram, Dikeh described New Wine Prophetic Tabernacle as “an interdenominational altar, spiritual home, and global movement of consecrated believers” committed to experiencing what she described as the “raw power, purity, and presence of God.”
The ministry takes its inspiration from the biblical passage in Mark 2:22: “And no one puts new wine into old wineskins.”
Dikeh said the initiative is intended for Christians seeking deeper spiritual commitment, revival, transformation, and a stronger relationship with God.
Vision and Mission
According to its stated vision, NWPT seeks to promote a global awakening of consecrated believers who will operate in the power, purity, and presence of God while contributing to the transformation of nations and the advancement of the Kingdom of Christ.
Its mission includes establishing an interdenominational platform for prayer, revival, and apostolic training; equipping believers for spiritual service; encouraging soul-winning; activating spiritual gifts; and ministering to people seeking freedom and transformation through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Dikeh emphasised that NWPT is “not a church”, but rather an intensive gathering for believers who consider themselves consecrated and equipped for the purposes of God.
She described the participants as a people set apart, refined by God’s presence, and committed to advancing His Kingdom.
