… as Works Commissioner congratulates President, Governor Umo Eno on successful APC primaries
Akwa Ibom, Nigeria – President Bola Ahmed Tinubu emerged victorious at the polling unit in Professor Eno Ibanga’s ward during the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary elections, which concluded today across the country.
The result was recorded in the ward of the Akwa Ibom State Commissioner for Works, Prof. Eno Ibanga, where voting took place as part of the nationwide exercise to select the party’s candidates.
Following the conclusion of the primaries, Prof. Ibanga congratulated President Tinubu on the outcome and commended the peaceful conduct of the process in the state. He also extended congratulations to Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, on his successful nomination to fly the APC flag for a second term.
Speaking after the exercise, the Commissioner described the primaries as a reflection of the party’s internal cohesion and the confidence members have in the leadership at both the national and state levels.
“The successful conduct of the primaries and the outcome in our ward show the unity and direction of the APC. I congratulate President Tinubu and Governor Umo Eno on their victories and look forward to working with all stakeholders for the party’s success in the coming elections,” Prof. Ibanga said.
The APC primaries across the 36 states wrapped up today, setting the stage for the party’s campaigns ahead of the next general elections.
