The United Apostolic Church of Christ (UACC) has said that it will hold her one-week yearly Pastors’ Conference in Ibadan, Oyo State.
The conference which is scheduled for Monday, March 15 to Sunday, March 21, 2021 will take place at the Church training centre, Sabo, Mokola, Ibadan.The confirmation of this event was contained in a statement signed by Pastor Paul Erakhifu for UACC media and publicity committee and made available to Sunday IndependentAccording to the statement, the theme for this year’s conference is, ‘The Good Shepherd’, taking reference from John 10 verse 11.
Erakhifu stated that the conference would be presided over by the new President of the Church, Rev. Dr. James Bayo Owoyemi.
Speaking about the conference, Owoyemi said: “At this crucial period, when there are challenges across the world, the Lord Jesus, our good Shepherd is ever there and ready to take care of his own.”
He further said: “At the conference we are going to pray for the unity and peace of Nigeria, because at a time like this we need God’s intervention and guidance. Also, we will pray for our leaders for God’s wisdom and understanding in governing the affairs of the nation.”
The conference, among other things, will feature seminars, workshops, music ministrations, prayer for fresh fire and anointing, the church said.
Moreover, there will be power packed revival for members of the church and the public. Expected at the conference are members of trustees and all ordained ministers of the church across the globe.
The annual conference would be a refreshing season in the presence of God, the statement added.
“It is interesting to know that necessary precautions have been put in place to curtail the spread of COVID -19 at the venue of the conference,” the church assured the public in the statement.
