Tottenham Hotspur bid for Juventus target of Nigerian descent rejected

Destiny Udogie’s impressive performances last season for Udinese have not gone unnoticed by more glamorous European clubs.

Udinese have a fight on their hands to keep hold of the Italy U21 international of Nigerian descent with several clubs interested in signing the versatile left-back in the summer transfer window.

According to Italian sports daily Tuttosport via Football Italia, Udinese do not want to lose the 19-year-old and have rejected offers from Tottenham Hotspur and Juventus.

The Italian-Nigerian has four years to run on his contract with the Little Zebras and it would take a big bid to prise him away from the Serie A outfit.

In 35 outings in last season’s Serie A, 29 of which he started, Udogie scored five goals and registered three assists.

He was a key player for the Italian U17 side that reached the final of the 2019 U17 EURO and that same year competed in the FIFA U17 World Cup in Brazil.
