Wolverhampton Wanderers goalkeeper, Rui Patricio, was stretchered off the match against Liverpool on Monday after he suffered a head injury.
Patricio who was trying to stop Salah from scoring suffered a blow to the head when he collided with his onrushing teammate, Conor Coady, in the 87th minute of the game.
The medics rushed to the pitch and treated the goalkeeper for about 10 minutes before loading him onto a stretcher and carrying him off the pitch to be replaced by Ruddy.
After the match, Wolves coach, Nuno Espírito Santo told Sky Sports that he received an update that the goalkeeper is okay. He said, “We just have an update he is okay. He is aware and the doctor speaks to him. The first signs are he is okay.”
