Mid-table Trelleborgs FF stunned league leaders Halmstad 2-1 in a Superettan match on Tuesday at the Örjans Vall.
Trelleborgs FF fought their way back into the contest and got their reward late on with two late goals; snatching the winner in stoppage time.
Nigerian attacker Henry Offia was involved in the encounter and was on the pitch as Trelleborgs FF ended Halmstad’s 8-game unbeaten streak.
This season the 22 year-old has been an important player for the second division side; contributing 4 goals and 2 assists in 11 league appearances.
Meanwhile Offia’s Nigerian compatriot, 18 year-old Abel Ogwuche was an unused substitute.
The young center back ha snot made a senior appearance for Trelleborg since his promotion from the youth team.
Both players are in the final months of their contracts at the second division side.
While Offia’s contract is still valid until December 2023, Ogwuche’s loan deal ends this November.
