He further explained that he decided to build the App in order to provide a platform for upcoming filmmakers who may be finding it hard to succeed in the industry.
The App has various sections and functionalities which includes;
Micstreams: Movie streaming section where users can stream unlimited movies and TV shows. This Micverse ‘s feature can be seen as a rival to Netflix.
MicSquare: Social media section where users can connect and chat with friends and colleagues from all over the world. This features gives a feel that Michael wants to give Instagram a run for its money.
MicFundit: A crowdfunding section where users can raise funds for their creative projects.
MicFilmPort: A section where users can organize or submit to film festivals from all over the world.
Michael believes that the platform will grow to become a virtual world for Filmmakers and one of the greatest tech companies in the world with the purpose of connecting people and providing supports and unlimited entertainment.
He explained that following the launch, there will be a few weeks of mass testing by over 100 people from all over the world after which the Application would be made available on Google and Apple stores for the general public. And of course, there is a website version too.
It is worthy of note that the young man had also in the previous week launched an online film school called MIC Film Institute with the aim of training and equipping young people to become professionals in the movie industry.
