itel P31 is an entry-level smartphone from itel.
This means that the device comes with low-range specifications to make it cheaper so that people with low income or on a tight budget can afford it.
I know this may probably make you feel you’ll be getting a low-end device with average performance. But really, the spec sheet is not as bad as it may sound.
For instance, the device comes with a 5000mAh battery. This can give you more than 2 days of uptime when fully charged, even with heavy usage.
Not so bad, is it?
This is a detailed review of itel P31 including its camera quality, processor, memory size and display.

The device comes with a plastic body and the rear cover is also plastic. This is almost like a standard and a practice in the phone industry; it shouldn’t be any problem for you.
The rear of the device is pretty much plain except for the itel logo and the audio speaker at the bottom. There’s no fingerprint technology visible on it.
P31 features a 5-inch screen with a display resolution of 854 x 480 pixels.
The 5-inch screen size is pretty much the standard Android screen size and is quite comfortable for operating the Android OS and playing games or watching movies. The resolution is average and just sufficient for 320p movies. No HD.
The phone is available in 4 different colors: Gold, Grey, and Blue.

I suggest you don’t go for the itel P31 if high-quality pictures are very important to you.
The itel comes with a 5MP rear and selfie camera.
The camera app comes with standard features like auto-focus, panorama, geotagging, touch focus, timer, scene mode, and others.
The thing is, the camera size is quite basic but way better than those on the P12 and A32F. This doesn’t mean it’s super impressive, though. So, if you want better quality pictures and videos, save more for a phone with a more decent camera.
Memory and Processor
Itel P31 runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and uses a Quad-core MediaTek chipset clocked at a speed of 1.2 GHz.
Its graphics is handled by ARM Mali-400 MP2 clocked at a speed of 416MHz.
The device sports a 1GB RAM. It can handle light apps impressively but with heavier apps like Whatsapp, Playstore or Facebook, you’ll notice considerable drags and lags. Also, its multitasking ability with such heavy apps is quite poor.
For file storage, the itel comes with an 8GB internal storage with a space for external micro SD card.
