AC Milan coach, Stefano Pioli, has confirmed that Zlatan Ibrahimovic will return from injury for the club’s Europa League last 16, second-leg clash against Manchester United at San Siro.
Ibrahimovic who had been sidelined for more than two weeks with an adductor muscle injury missed the first leg between the two teams that ended 1-1.
However, Pioli told a press conference in Milan on Wednesday, March 17, that Ibrahimovic will be available for the second leg.
Pioli said, “Ibra and Bennacer will be available, I’m happy with their recovery. Obviously (Ibrahimovic) can’t have the 90 minutes in his legs, but it’s an important return for us. The more choices I have, the better It is. Let’s see who will be there tomorrow. In any case, we have shown that we can do well even with absences.”
