… sets machinery for regular support to young entrepreneurs
In his usual heartwarming display of philanthropy, and community engagement, the Commissioner for Works and Fire Service, Akwa Ibom State, Professor Eno Ibanga, played host to a cross section of Mkpat Enin youths at his Ikot Udoidem country home on Easter Saturday.
Professor Ibanga was accompanied by the Member representing Mkpat Enin State Constituency in the Akwa Ibom State Assembly, Rt. Hon. Uwem Imo-Ita and other youth leaders from the area.
At the chit-chat with the youth, Prof charged the youth on self development and entrepreneurship, encouraging the them to strive for excellence and have hope on a brighter future.
At the gathering he doled out business grants to support the entrepreneurial endeavour of three young entrepreneurs and further announced the setting of a five man committee to plan regular empowerment and support to young entrepreneurs in Mkpat Enin Local Government Area.
On his part, the House of Assembly member, Rt. Hon. Uwem Imo-Ita also extended his Easter greetings to the youth. He seized the occasion to announce that his mega empowerment programme is underway.
He also announced financial support to the youth present at the event and further exhorted them on the virtues of loyalty, hard work and patience.
The elated youth expressed their appreciation to the host for his constant community engagement and welfare supports, they charged the atmosphere with songs and cheers as they savour the entertainment and monetary benefits provided
