Obong Stephen Ntukekpo has been reinstated as the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria.
The state congress committee adopted a consensus model, paving the way for Ntukekpo’s return as State Chairman, alongside Hon Utitofon Jeremiah as the newly appointed State Ex Officio member. The oath of office and allegiance has been administered to the newly elected executives.
Ntukekpo’s leadership has been marked by efforts to unify the party, with stakeholders endorsing his commitment to cohesion and progress.
His earlier emergence as Party Chairman some years ago was marked by long battle of court cases, this present reinstation comes after a court ruling in his favor, declaring him the legitimate state chairman.
