Former Bayelsa Governor, Seriake Dickson has said that no member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is happy with the present development in the party.
His comment is following the resignation of seven members of the National Working Committee (NWC) of the party. While noting that these are development that is not totally strange, Dickson who is now a serving senator said that this is coming about the four months to the end of the tenure of the committee.
“These are all trying times for all political parties. The PDP since 2015 has been undergoing self-discovery.”
Speaking as a guest on Channels TV Politics Today on Wednesday evening monitored by Newsbreakersonline, Dickson said all the PDP leaders are working out to ensure that the party stays together ahead of the 2023 election.
“It is not completely unexpected. It’s normal for a party that suddenly lost election after 16 years in power. These are the challenges that we are managing in the process of discovering the real PDP,” he added.
